About the job
As a Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in industrial and maritime projects. Your main responsibilities include designing and writing PLC software for electrical control systems, testing and commissioning this software both in-house and on-site, and creating electrical designs and specifications for customer installations. Key responsibilities:- Design and develop PLC software for electrical control systems.
- Test and commission software in-house and on-site.
- Create electrical designs and specifications.
- Oversee hardware engineering and assist with drawing packages.
- Define project scopes and maintain detailed designs.
- Collaborate with project leaders, lead engineers, and software engineers.
- Guide panel construction, conduct acceptance tests, and commission systems.

To start working as a Project Engineer, you need:- Suitable education, preferably in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Automation.
- Experience in the industrial, maritime, and offshore sectors is a plus.
- VCA-VOL certified or willing to obtain it.
- Proficiency with PLC systems like Bachmann, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
- Experience with AutoCAD, E-Plan, MS Office, MS Visio, and Access.
- Ability to speak and write in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical, stress-resistant, and problem-solving abilities.
- Accurate, customer-oriented, professional, and flexible mindset.
- Strong awareness of quality, safety, welfare, and environmental issues.
- Willingness to undertake additional training.
