About the job
*Only available for candidates who have their own accommodation in the Netherlands and can travel to this location independently. As a Productionworker Wood and Machine Operator you are responsible for operating sawing machines. Beams, planks, you name it! Today you will be busy with a load of planks which has to be shortened by the machine. These planks are then purchased by a box-making company to make potato boxes. There is some pressure because the truck need to be loaded at 2 pm. For you as a Machine Operator it’s a challenge.
Your work includes:
- Operating woodworking machines
- Troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance
- Loading and unloading wood into the machine
- Be in contact with your English speaking colleagues about tasks and the planning
About the company
With a nice team of 10 English speaking colleagues, you ensure that the customers receive their packages of wood with the right treatments. The working times are from 07:15 am. to 16:15 pm. On Friday you will stop two hours earlier. So you work 38 hours a week. In this family business there is an open form of communication and a lot of things are possible. In addition to working hard, you can also relax. In this company you will work with a brand new machine park.
You have it
- Experience with operating machines and productionwork, experience in the wood industry is an advantage;
- You have a pro-active working attitude which you will need to complete the orders in time.
- You live in the area of Heienoord, like Barendrecht or Oud-Beijerland, or have your own car.

Your work as a Production Employee in Heinenoord must be rewarded appropriately. For this position you can count on:
- Salary between €2,325 and €2,750 gross per month (€ 360,- / € 558,- netto per week);
- 25 days off
- 8.33% holiday allowance;
- Travel allowance and pension accrual;
- Work for a longer period with a chance to obtain a permanent contract;
